Job summary

Alaska Behavioral Health in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Chief People Officer to lead Human Resources, Training, Community Relations and Communications. This senior role advises the CEO and Board on organizational health, workforce strategy, leadership development, succession, and culture while guiding enterprise-wide people initiatives.

The CPO will shape talent acquisition, retention, performance management, equity, and professional development, while partnering with the CFO on workforce

Qualifications

• Significant progressive leadership experience in Human Resources or People Operations.
• Experience leading workforce strategy and change initiatives.
• Strong ability to advise senior leaders and translate priorities into workforce strategies.
• Experience in compensation, benefits and leadership development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the enterprise People strategy aligning with AKBH's priorities.
• Direct HR, Training, Community Relations and Communications functions.
• Advise CEO and Board on organizational health, culture and workforce trends.
• Lead organizational change to strengthen structure, leadership, and employee experience.
• Oversee talent acquisition, performance, retention, succession planning, and development.
• Manage workforce budgets in collaboration with the CFO.
