Job summary

Fontaine Modification Company, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks a hands-on Vice President of Operations to lead nine sites with responsibility for production, procurement, quality, safety, and continuous improvement. You will drive capacity planning, scheduling, and KPI-based performance in a low-volume, high-mix environment, aligning operations with vehicle modification programs.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in manufacturing leadership, deep ERP experience, and a proven ability to scale

Qualifications

• 15+ years of manufacturing operations leadership with multi-site responsibility.
• Experience in vehicle or heavy equipment manufacturing in low-volume, high-mix environments.
• Strong track record implementing lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute operating strategy for nine sites across production, procurement, quality, and safety.
• Lead capacity planning, scheduling, labor deployment, and on-time delivery.
• Develop sourcing and procurement strategies; manage supplier performance and inventory.
• Drive a practical operating system grounded in lean methods and standard work.
• Foster a strong safety culture and customer-focused quality improvements.
