Job summary

State of Maryland seeks a Chief Operating Officer for the John L. Gildner - RICA in Rockville, MD. The role oversees all non-clinical operations and reports to the CEO, guiding Emergency Management, Personnel, Plant, Housekeeping, Food Services, Purchasing, and Environment of Care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, human services, business, accounting, or a management field.
• Five years of professional administrative experience, including two years at a managerial or supervisory level.
• A related Master’s degree will substitute for one year of general experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer all non-clinical operations of John L. Gildner - RICA (Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents) and supervise Emergency Management; Personnel Services; Plant Management; Housekeeping Services; Food Services; Purchasing and Supply Operations; Environment of Care and Emergency Nursing Services.
• Perform duties as deputy to RICA's Chief Executive Officer, and assist in JC accreditation, state licensure, and provide administrative support to clinical, residential, and school programs.
