Job summary

Pacific Forest Trust in San Francisco seeks an Executive Vice President to architect the operational backbone of the organization and scale impact across programs.

The EVP will lead cross-functional systems, budgets, HR, IT, security, and facilities; ensure policy adherence and risk mitigation; report to the President & CEO; and serve on the Management Team to drive excellence and collaboration across the nonprofit's conservation mission.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of management experience in nonprofits, including land trust context.
• Proven senior operations leadership and governance exposure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional interaction with diverse teams.
• Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and deadline discipline.
• Experience with budgets, fundraising oversight, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Be a visionary operational leader balancing program needs with organizational workplans.
• Oversee budgets, IT, security, facilities, HR, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Finance and Administration to manage annual budget and reporting.
• Participate in Management Team and Board meetings.
