FOUND is seeking its first combined Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer in Los Angeles. This executive will build the financial and operational backbone required to scale, turning founder-led processes into systems and preparing for the next financing round.

The role is hands-on with a seat on the executive team and board exposure. It suits an operator who has scaled a company from early revenue to the next growth stage and will own both numbers and business operations.

Responsibilities

• Own financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting and the long-range operating model
• Lead fundraising preparation, investor relations and board reporting with the CEO
• Build out accounting, controls, audit readiness, tax and treasury
• Manage cash, burn and runway, with clear metrics on unit economics and capital efficiency
• Oversee pricing, deal structure and contract terms on large enterprise and public-sector deals
• Turn company strategy into operating plans, OKRs and a regular operating rhythm across teams
• Build scalable processes for revenue operations, procurement, vendor management and internal systems
• Partner with the head of people on headcount planning, compensation structure and org design
• Oversee legal, compliance and security programs, including any government or regulated-customer requirements
• Build and lead a small, high-performing finance and operations team

Responsibilities

Finance

• Own financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting and the long-range operating model
• Lead fundraising preparation, investor relations and board reporting with the CEO

Operations

• Turn company strategy into operating plans, OKRs and a regular operating rhythm across teams
• Build scalable processes for revenue operations, procurement, vendor management and internal systems

• Build and lead a small, high-performing finance and operations team

Required Skills

• 12+ years in finance and operations, including at least 4 years as a CFO, COO or VP Finance/Operations at a venture-backed technology company
• Experience scaling a company through a growth stage, such as Series A–C or $10M–$100M ARR
• Led or played a central role in at least one institutional fundraise
• Strong command of SaaS or platform metrics, financial modeling and GAAP accounting
• Comfortable in the details: you build the model yourself and run the process yourself
• Clear communicator with boards, investors and technical founders

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise, government or regulated customers, including long sales cycles and complex contracts
• Background in data, AI, analytics, defense tech or security
• Early career in investment banking, consulting or venture capital
• Experience preparing a company for a later-stage raise, acquisition or IPO
