The Chief Operating Officer, reporting to the President and CEO, will have responsibility for operating the business including strategy, planning, and day to day operations with a focus on efficiency, growth and profitability. We are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and execution-oriented Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead day-to-day operations and drive operational excellence across the company. Reporting to the CEO, the COO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for aligning people, process, and technology to accelerate growth, improve margins, and ensure a best-in-class customer experience. This is a high-impact role for a proven operator who thrives in dynamic environments and brings a track record of scaling eCommerce and supply chain-driven businesses.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee daily business operations including marketing, ecommerce, fulfillment, logistics, customer service, supply chain, and order management.
  • Strategic Execution: Translate the company’s strategic vision into operational plans, KPIs, and initiatives that drive measurable results.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and eliminate inefficiencies across the organization, continuously improving workflows, systems, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Team Management: Lead, build, and mentor high-performing teams across all functions of FinditParts.
  • Technology & Systems: Partner with our Chief Technical Officer to scale operational systems, automate workflows, and integrate tools that improve speed, accuracy, and service.
  • Financial Accountability: Own operational P&L, budget planning, cost management, and key financial performance metrics.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure consistent, reliable, and high-quality experiences for customers across all operational touchpoints.
  • Business Strategy: Lead the planning and strategic decisions as a member of the core executive team.
  • Reporting: Provide the CEO and Board of Directors with necessary business reporting, analysis, and results.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance and operations, preferably in eCommerce, B2B Marketplace, or supply chain driven businesses.
  • Proven track record of scaling operational teams and systems in profitable, high-growth environments.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience using data to drive optimum decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, problem solving, and team-building skills.
  • Experience working in founder-led or private-equity-backed businesses is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and consistently improve a talented team.
  • Natural ability to move fast, be bold, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • The highest level of personal integrity and a significant commitment to outstanding results.
