Job summary

CareersInFood.com is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead Production, Logistics and related support functions in the San Francisco Bay Area, aligning with the CEO, President and CFO to shape strategic direction and execute mission-critical objectives.

The role oversees food manufacturing/production, supply chain and EHS, ensures regulatory compliance, and coordinates with Sales to drive profitability and growth in a 225-person, ESOP-backed company with 35+ years in business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations departments including supply chain, Production and EHS.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Coordinate with Sales and lead Food Manufacturing/Production and Logistics.

Job description

The Chief Operating Officer will lead the company's Production, Logistics and related support functions. In concert with the CEO, the President and the CFO the COO develop the strategic direction, guide the attainment of mission critical objectives and execution to attain the company's essentials for success.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and company policies
• Manage operations departments including supply chain, Production and EHS [Environmental Health & Safety]
• Food Manufacturing / Production
• Logistics/Supply Chain management
• Coordinating with Sales
