Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with relevant therapeutic specialty in an academic or hospital setting.
• 5+ years (7 preferred) of clinical trial experience in the pharmaceutical industry, academia, or equivalent.
• Ability to run a complex clinical research program independently.
• Proven leadership and ability to bring out the best in a cross-functional global team.
• Must possess excellent English oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact externally and internally to support a global scientific and business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Leads and oversees design and implementation of multiple clinical development programs.
• Ensures study integrity and timely delivery of safety and efficacy data.
• Owns reporting of scientific content for protocols and regulatory submissions.
• May supervise Medical/Scientific Directors and Clinical Scientists.
• Chairs Clinical Strategy Teams and develops robust development plans.
• Represents clinical development in regulatory discussions and business development activities.
