Job summary

Crew Life at Sea Ltd. seeks a dynamic Cruise Director to lead the Entertainment Department aboard our vessels, coordinating a diverse team and delivering guest-focused entertainment across events and main stage.

You will work with the General Manager, manage budgets, and ensure programming quality, safety policies, and revenue promotion. Requires extensive shipboard management, strong English, and multilingual communication.

Qualifications

• Plan, program and implement new entertainment activities.
• 5–7 years shipboard management experience including social, recreational and entertainment activities.
• One year experience in budget planning and accounting procedures.
• Intermediate verbal and writing skills in another language (German/Spanish/French/Italian) preferred.
• Advanced English verbal and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• The Cruise Director leads the Entertainment/Cruise Programs Department onboard, scheduling all entertainment and activities.
• Establishes and maintains the social environment onboard. Represents the ship at events as master of ceremonies.
• Provide feedback to staff to promote teamwork and guest satisfaction while maintaining budget adherence.
• Ensure overall quality of onboard TV programming and promotion of company policies and procedures.
• Handle problem solving and conflict resolution following shipboard guidelines.
