Job summary

OuterSignal is seeking a Chief of Staff to partner with the CEO and VP of Operations in turning strategy into execution. You will build systems, align a fast-growing team, and own company-wide initiatives that determine how we scale.

You’ll be a hands-on operator who thrives in ambiguity, protecting executive focus and advising investors and the executive team. You’ll drive AI adoption across the org and shepherd cross-functional projects from idea to impact.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years in a Chief of Staff or startup operations role at a high-growth company.
• Hands-on operator who builds process from chaos and automates busywork.
• Strong business and financial fluency with comfort in models, targets, and numbers.

Responsibilities

• Be the right hand to the CEO and partner with executive leadership to turn strategy into execution.
• Act as a trusted thought partner to the CEO, VP of Operations, and leadership to pressure-test decisions and frame critical trade-offs.
• Protect executive focus by triaging priorities and surfacing bottlenecks early.
• Serve as a trusted contact for investors, partners, and vendors, supporting boards and fundraising from prep through follow-through.
• Lead special projects across the org, including driving AI adoption across teams.
