Job summary

The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore seeks a Chief of Staff to work closely with the CEO and senior leadership. This hands-on role ensures priorities move forward, coordinates work across departments, and supports governance and strategic initiatives.

Reporting to the CEO, you will help keep important decisions and action items on track, manage competing priorities, and build strong relationships across the organization to drive impactful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in administration, project management, operations, or related field.
• Experience coordinating projects across teams or departments.
• Experience improving systems, processes, or internal operations.
• Experience with senior leaders, board members, or external partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; nonprofit experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support CEO and senior leadership in advancing organizational priorities.
• Keep projects and action items moving and ensure follow-up.
• Coordinate with departments on cross-functional initiatives.
• Lead special projects and track implementation progress.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and governance materials.
