Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Chief of Staff to the SVP of Product to scale the product leadership function. You will anchor the leadership rhythms, own hiring and budgets, and drive cross-functional alignment with Technology Operations, HR, Finance, and Brand.

You will lead on AI retooling, curate the external narrative, and prepare executive briefings to reduce decision latency. This role is remote-first across the United States.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in roles that built product credibility and strategic-narrative chops.
• Experience running people processes at scale (hiring, calibrations, leveling, talent reviews).
• Exceptional written communication and ability to ghostwrite and draft a board page.

Responsibilities

• Design and run the product leadership team’s rhythms (staff meetings, product reviews, all-teams, offsites).
• Co-own the people rhythms with HRBP across hiring, calibrations, performance, and talent reviews.
• Partner with Technology Operations to define roadmap planning and OKRs.
• Own headcount planning and budget management with Finance and HRBP.
• Drive AI retooling and enablement across the function.
• Curate the external product narrative and act as a speechwriter with PR and brand.
• Prepare executive briefings and reduce decision latency for the Product leadership team.
• Run an org health pulse and surface early signals before they become problems.
