Job summary

VECKTA is seeking a Chief of Staff to be a force multiplier for the CEO, driving the operating system, board reporting, and cross‑functional coordination as the company scales. • Own board and investor rhythm: board prep, investor updates, data room, and reporting cadence.
• Multiply the CEO by prepping for meetings, drafting communications, and protecting time and priorities.
• Build the ops/PMO function to turn strategy into execution across the company.
• Parachute into cross-functional problems, drive them to ground, and hand off a working system.

About the Role

This is the high-leverage seat in the company. As Chief of Staff, you'll be a force multiplier to the CEO, Gareth Evans, running the operating system that keeps VECKTA's leadership team aligned, accountable, and moving fast, while owning the board and investor rhythm and managing special projects.

You'll start by owning our operating cadence and have the potential to grow into owning the ops/PMO function outright.

What You'll Do

Run the operating cadence. Own our company operating system end to end: leadership meetings, rocks and KPIs, scorecards, and ruthless follow-through on every commitment made.

Own the board and investor rhythm. Drive board prep, investor updates, the data room, and the reporting cadence our investors expect.

Multiply the CEO. Prep CEO for every meeting that matters, draft comms, protect his time and priorities, and make sure the most important thing is always the thing getting done.

Build the ops/PMO function. Stand up the processes, tooling, and team that turn strategy into execution across the company.

Parachute into what's broken. Take on the cross-functional problems that don't have an owner yet, run them to ground, and hand off a working system.

Who You'll Work With

You’ll work directly with the CEO daily, and partner with the entire leadership team across GTM, Product, and Operations to keep us aligned and accountable. You'll interface with our board and investors on reporting and prep. You sit at the center of the company and see all of it.

VECKTA is a remote-first company with team members across the Americas. We bring the team together periodically for company "summits," typically on the US West Coast. Expect periodic travel for summits, board meetings, and time with the leadership team and me.
