Job description

Our client is a rapidly growing technology organization operating in a highly innovative and entrepreneurial environment. The company is looking for a Chief of Staff to work closely with the leadership team and help drive key business initiatives.

This is a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly, and employees are expected to take ownership, solve problems, and contribute beyond their defined responsibilities. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, take on increasingly complex initiatives, and grow with the organization.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a driven, adaptable, and high-caliber Chief of Staff/Head of Operations to serve as a key partner and right hand to the CEO and leadership team. The ideal candidate can see the big picture while staying close to the details—someone who can think strategically, solve problems, and turn ideas into action.

This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to become deeply integrated into the business and take on broader operational responsibilities. The ideal candidate has experience working in a startup, entrepreneurial, or rapidly scaling environment, where priorities evolve quickly and individuals are expected to take ownership beyond a defined job description. They should be comfortable working closely with senior leadership, taking on increasingly complex initiatives, and growing with the organization as its needs evolve. The role will span executive priorities, special projects, analytical work, problem-solving, cross-functional initiatives, and day-to-day follow-through.

We are looking for someone who is hungry, dynamic, organized, open-minded, and eager to grow, with the judgment and initiative to create structure, take ownership, and drive important work forward. Most importantly, this person must be someone leadership can trust to step in, take things off their plate, and help move the business forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO and leadership team, helping manage priorities, communication, and follow-through.
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic priorities, special projects, and critical business initiatives.
  • Translate leadership objectives into clear action plans, timelines, and measurable deliverables.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring accountability and follow-through.
  • Rally teams and stakeholders around deadlines, deliverables, and organizational priorities.
  • Identify blockers, solve problems, and keep initiatives moving forward.
  • Prepare executive presentations, reports, briefings, proposals, and other materials to support leadership decision-making.
  • Conduct research and analysis and provide leadership with visibility into key business priorities and initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Help establish structure, processes, and operating rhythms across the organization.
  • Take ownership of special projects and emerging business needs.
  • Handle sensitive information and executive communications with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Be willing to jump in, “block and tackle,” and take on whatever needs to be addressed.
  • Coordinate activities across teams and time zones while maintaining visibility into deadlines and deliverables.

Key Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, business operations, executive leadership support, or a similarly high-impact role.
  • Experience working in a startup, entrepreneurial, or rapidly scaling environment, with a track record of taking on increasing responsibility as the organization grows.
  • Experience working closely with senior leadership and taking ownership of increasingly complex, high-priority initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in environments where priorities change quickly and responsibilities may extend beyond a traditional job description.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a practical, execution-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable navigating changing priorities and making sound decisions with limited information.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization.
  • High level of discretion, judgment, and professionalism.
