Job summary

Micron Technology in Idaho is seeking a Construction Operations Lead who will partner with the Senior Director of Front End US Expansion Construction to drive alignment and execution on major expansion projects in Idaho and New York.

You will develop executive dashboards, lead governance, and coordinate across engineering, construction, operations, and business teams to accelerate project delivery and improve organizational effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a related field and 8+ years in construction or program management.
  • Experience supporting senior executives and driving priorities to completion.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and ensure successful execution across expansion projects.
  • Lead leadership operating rhythms, staff meetings, reviews, and executive site visits.
  • Develop executive communications, dashboards, and decision-support materials.
  • Coordinate cross-functional partners to resolve risks and drive accountability for schedule, cost, safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Drive organizational effectiveness initiatives and governance programs sponsored by executive leadership.

Construction Operations Lead

The Front End US Expansion Construction organization is delivering one of the largest semiconductor construction programs in the United States. Our team partners across engineering, construction, operations, and business functions to build world‑class manufacturing facilities that will support future technology innovation. We value teamwork, accountability, and execution excellence as we scale across multiple expansion sites.

The Construction Operations Lead serves as a strategic advisor and operational partner to the Senior Director of Front End US Expansion Construction. In this highly visible role, you will help drive organizational alignment, executive operations, construction performance, and critical initiatives across major expansion projects in Idaho and New York. This position offers the opportunity to influence key decisions, accelerate project execution, and improve organizational effectiveness in a fast‑paced growth environment.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Senior Director to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, measurable achievements, and successful execution across expansion projects
  • Lead leadership operating rhythms, including staff meetings, business reviews, executive site visits, strategic planning sessions, and performance reviews
  • Develop executive communications, dashboards, presentations, and decision‑support materials that provide timely insight into construction performance and organizational priorities
  • Coordinate cross‑functional partners to resolve risks, remove execution barriers, and drive accountability for project commitments related to schedule, cost, safety, quality, and productivity
  • Drive organizational effectiveness initiatives, governance processes, continuous improvement efforts, and strategic programs sponsored by executive leadership
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Program Management, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in construction, program management, capital projects, business operations, strategic planning, or a related subject area
  • Demonstrated success leading complex cross‑functional initiatives and influencing outcomes across multiple collaborator groups
  • Experience supporting senior executives, managing executive communications, and driving organizational priorities to completion
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, critical facilities, or large‑scale capital construction projects
  • MBA or advanced degree in a technical or business‑related field
  • PMP, CCM, or similar professional certification
  • Experience supporting executive leadership teams within construction, engineering, or large project organizations
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, Power BI, SharePoint, reporting platforms, AI‑enabled productivity tools, and executive reporting systems
