Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification, preferably a doctoral degree, or equivalent senior-level experience in university research strategy.
• Extensive knowledge of the university research landscape, including strategy development, funding, administration, assessment and performance management.
• Strong analytical capabilities in research intelligence, bibliometrics, benchmarking and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead research strategy implementation with a focused portfolio of workstreams, milestones and decisions.
• Provide evidence-based advice on research strengths, funding, talent, partnerships, doctoral growth and reputation.
• Oversee CRM strategy, service model and performance review arrangements for the Centre.
• Develop dashboards and use benchmarking to inform investment, recruitment and focus areas.
