Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • NFPA Fire Officer II or higher.
  • Arizona EMT and/or Paramedic or ability to obtain within 60 days.
  • Operations-level training in technical rescue disciplines.
  • Minimum 10 years of active all-hazard service delivery experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Training Program management and supervise instructors.
  • Coordinate examinations, drills, academies and taskbooks.
  • Maintain training records and track EMS continuing education hours.
  • Lead local training, budget oversight and procurement of materials.
  • Act as lead instructor during drills and monitor training effectiveness.
