Qualifications

• Board certification in Cardiology and fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Academic rank of Associate Professor or higher or equivalent.
• Outstanding record of clinical excellence and commitment to patient care.
• Demonstrated expertise in complex EP procedures with LAAO implantation or lead extraction preferred.
• Strong record of research and academic achievement.
• Commitment to innovation and advancement in EP.
• Leadership skills with commitment to faculty development and mentorship.
• Ability to advance clinical and academic missions of the institution.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, clinical, operational, and programmatic leadership for the EP section.
• Join Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges.
• Lead continued growth, innovation, and integration of a comprehensive EP program across the Rush University System for Health.
• Provide clinical expertise in complex EP procedures, with experience in LAAO implantation and/or lead extraction preferred.
• Advance the clinical, academic, and research missions of the EP program.
• Foster innovation and growth within the field of EP.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop faculty and clinical staff.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, excellence, and professional development.
• Lead initiatives that support growth and advancement of the program.
