Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC is seeking a Head of Digital Rights to lead IP and Privacy Operations in the United States. You will align legal, product, and engineering teams to design scalable, compliant workflows handling IP complaints, data subject requests, and privacy-driven removals.

You will drive operational excellence across multiple pillars, mentor leaders, and optimize processes to meet evolving regulatory demands while maintaining auditable and high-integrity execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of complex operations leadership in IP, privacy, or legal operations environments.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or privacy certifications are a strong plus.
• Proven track record scaling complex IP or privacy functions, backlog remediation, and process modernization.
• Strong fluency in legal and technical frameworks including US copyright, DMCA-style processes, and cross-border data protection.

Responsibilities

• Bridge Product, Engineering, Legal, and Policy to define Operational Readiness for IP and Privacy.
• Own intake surfaces and routing for IP complaints, counter-notifications, appeals, and data requests.
• Identify friction, automate workflows, harden QA, and modernize operational infrastructure.
• Serve as primary operational contact for escalations to executives and counsel.
• Maintain high-accuracy, high-speed queues and optimize performance with data insights.
• Refine SOPs to adapt to evolving laws, product features, and entity types.
• Align with USDS JV Legal, Policy, and Global counterparts on ownership and decisions.
• Lead and scale IP and Privacy Operations teams across pillars.
