Job summary

Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth seeks a Chief of Development to lead a new standalone Development Department in Nevada. The role combines strategy with hands‑on grant writing and donor stewardship to diversify funding and grow impact.

Reporting to the CEO, the CD will implement a new CRM, oversee grants, and expand individual giving, major gifts, and partnerships across multiple channels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit development or advancement.
• Proven success writing and managing grants and securing large funding.
• Experience leading comprehensive fundraising strategies across multiple revenue streams.
• Strong CRM and donor data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Fundraising Strategy & Execution to diversify revenue streams.
• Oversee Grants Leadership and manage the grants program.
• Design donor engagement, stewardship and recognition efforts.
• Plan and oversee events, campaigns, and community outreach.
• Supervise Development staff and implement a new CRM system.
• Collaborate with Executive Leadership and other departments to align funds and impact.
