Job summary

Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C. seeks an Executive Director of Data Integrity & Analytics to lead data integrity, crime analytics, and reporting programs.

You will advise the Chief of Police on information-sharing strategies, technology improvements, and analytical capabilities, ensuring compliance with federal standards and District laws. The role requires senior-level leadership, strategic planning, and strong communication with federal partners and District officials.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of crime data management, analytics, and reporting.
• Advanced knowledge of UCR requirements and federal/state policies.
• Experience leading senior-level analytics or data-governance programs.
• Ability to translate laws into operational procedures.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for MPD data integrity, analytics, and reporting to align with goals and legal requirements.
• Advise Chief of Police on information-sharing, technology improvements, and intelligence capabilities.
• Ensure crime statistics, intelligence products, and reports are accurate and compliant with federal standards.
• Design, direct, and evaluate advanced analytics studies on crime patterns and gaps for decision-making.
• Build and maintain high-level relationships with federal and local partners for data-sharing.
• Oversee submission and review of incident, arrest, and crash reports and FBI/UCR data dissemination.
• Manage resource planning and workflow within the ODIA to support MPD priorities.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
