Non-profit health system is seeking a visionary proven leader and non-invasive cardiologist to serve as Chief of Cardiology and Vice Chair of the Heart and Vascular Institute. Please consider the following details:
Practice Details and Job Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Chair of the Heart and Vascular Institute.
- Collaborate closely with the Vice Chairs of Vascular Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery, as well as service line leadership. Competitive compensation range $400K-$950K.
- Partner with the Medical Director of Medical Specialties to provide medical oversight for cardiology offices and hospital-based cardiology services.
- Supervise a large team of cardiologists, advanced practice nurses (APNs), and physician assistants (PAs).
- Oversee hospital-based cardiology procedures and support the development and oversight of the new cardiology fellowship program.
Qualifications:
- A proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality cardiovascular care.
- Board certification in cardiovascular disease and a strong interest in clinical excellence.
- Ability to build rapport with medical staff and leadership to obtain buy-in and foster collaboration to achieve desired outcomes.
