Job summary

CHCCC is seeking a Chief Physician of OB/GYN to oversee and direct OB/GYN services, including managing on-call schedules across CHC regions. The role combines clinical practice with administrative leadership, ensuring high-quality patient care and program governance.

Under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, you will drive quality improvement, policy development, and professional development, while maintaining clinical activity and ensuring regulatory compliance within CHC clinics.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with OB/GYN residency completed.
• Active California medical license required.
• Five years of clinical medicine with two in medical administration.
• Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct OB/GYN services and manage on-call schedules for CHC region(s).
• Provide governance and performance management of direct reports, including peer review.
• Lead rounds and advocate for providers on clinical and practice issues.
• Plan, organize, and direct OB/GYN services and administrative functions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OB/GYN care and technologies for CHC clinics.
• Lead CME and professional development for OB/GYN staff.
