Encompass Health seeks a Chief Nursing Officer to lead nursing care across one of our 150+ inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. You will guide quality, policy, and performance, while fostering a compassionate, patient-centered culture and aligning staff to mission-driven outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and 5+ years in inpatient hospital settings with nursing management experience. Expect collaboration across disciplines, governance involvement, and adherence to Joint Commission and

Formación

• Current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
• CRRN certification within a year of eligibility.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field; higher degree preferred.
• Advanced degree or equivalent knowledge.
• Five years of inpatient hospital experience.
• Two years of recent nursing management experience with 24-hour accountability, FTE management, policy and budget oversight.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with medical, clinical, and therapeutic disciplines to foster a patient-focused, team-oriented culture.
• Develop patient care programs, policies, and procedures to meet nursing needs.
• Represent nursing on committees such as Governing Body, Quality Council, Med Exec, Infection Control, Education, and Ethics.
• Support diversity and maintain an inclusive work environment.
• Lead efforts to exceed goals by aligning staff with the hospital mission and measuring outcomes.
• Implement Joint Commission, CMS, state, rehabilitation nursing, and hospital standards.
• Use staffing data to optimize NHPPD, analyze data, and drive health improvements.
