Ideal candidates hold a BSN with a Master’s in Nursing/Health Administration and at least five years in Nursing Management, plus an active RN license in the employment state.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing, Health Administration or related field required; candidates may enroll if they provide a plan to complete within two years.
• Five years’ nursing management experience supervising patient care.
• Current, valid RN license in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for multi-site work.

Responsibilities

• Directs nursing and clinical services and leads hospital decision making; ensures staffing competence.
• Develops staffing plans, departmental budgets, and program development.
• Plans resource utilization, improves work environment, and monitors quality of care.
• Collaborates with physicians to address patient care needs and enhance systems.
• Promotes the facility through external and internal health care activities.
