Salem Transitional Care in Salem, Oregon, is seeking a seasoned Chief Nursing Officer to lead our nursing team and advance resident care within an on-site facility. You will partner with the CEO and interdisciplinary teams to drive quality outcomes, regulatory readiness, and person-centered care.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of senior nursing leadership experience in long-term care, a BSN (MSN preferred), Oregon RN licensure, and a proven ability to develop staff, manage performance, and

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Oregon RN license required.
3–5 years of leadership experience in a Director of Nursing, Chief Nursing Officer, or equivalent in skilled/long-term care.
DNS-CT or CDONA certification is a plus.
Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

Lead the nursing team to promote high-quality resident care and positive clinical outcomes.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations while maintaining survey readiness.
Partner with the CEO and leadership team to support facility goals and operational success.
Oversee staffing, scheduling, recruitment, retention, and team development within nursing.
