Qualifications

Doctoral degree in Nursing or related field, or enrolled with completion within 18 months.
Eligibility for and ability to obtain a Michigan Nursing license.
At least 10 years of progressively responsible nursing admin leadership, 5+ at senior level.
Leadership in an academic medical center; CNO experience preferred.
Extensive clinical nursing and management leadership experience.

Set the vision for nursing across U-M Health and establish strategic direction.
Advance quality, safety, and clinical excellence through system standards.
Lead and develop nursing leadership across the enterprise.
Strengthen nursing workforce through recruitment, retention and development.
Champion governance and Magnet redesignation initiatives.

Provide strategic and financial stewardship and cross-disciplinary partnerships.
