The CNE will lead nursing services, develop standardized policies, mentor DNCS and hospital leaders, and coordinate resource planning to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications

• MSN and related master’s degree required.
• License: Registered Nurse in the state.
• Five years of clinical management and leadership experience.
• Experience with multi-facility responsibilities.
• Preferred: experience as a Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) or Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the ongoing practice of the system mission, vision, and values for nursing across the market hospitals.
• Leads the continual development and communication of market-wide nursing strategy.
• Monitors staffing, drives performance, and provides input to hospital leadership.
• Develops annual education and competency plans for nursing.
• Participates in budget planning related to staffing, benchmarks, and workflow.
• Coaches market leaders and ensures regulatory compliance and quality of care.
• Performs clinical analysis of quality outcomes and regulatory reviews.
