Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia or in a compact state is required.
• Master’s degree and/or doctorate in psychiatric mental health nursing, or nursing administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and overall supervision to the Nursing Department. Direct supervision to ACNOs, ICN, Nurse Educator and Administrators on Duty.
• Ensure safe and competent nursing care and support the hospital's goals and nursing job descriptions.
