Job summary

The Nuclear Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Operations to build and lead the fleet-level nuclear operating organization from fuel load through decommissioning. This is a ground-up build role requiring strategic vision, strong safety culture, and regulatory coordination.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in nuclear plant operations with senior leadership.
• NRC-licensed Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) or equivalent.
• Proven ability to build or significantly restructure an operating organization.
• Strong safety culture leadership and INPO familiarity.
• Experience with nuclear new build, plant restart, or initial fuel load operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and build TNC’s nuclear operating organization from the ground up, defining structure, staffing, qualifications, and training.
• Establish TNC’s nuclear safety culture from the first hire and implement operating procedures program.
• Develop staffing plan for lead project, including licensed and non-licensed roles and timelines.
• Coordinate with regulatory/training on operator qualification and simulator training.
• Lead the transition from fuel load handoff to initial commercial operation.
