Job summary

Globalstar Inc. is seeking a senior network architect to own the multi-year architecture roadmap for WAN, data center and cloud interconnects.

You will lead design reviews, set standards, and ensure operability by engineering teams while partnering with cybersecurity and legal to meet regulatory obligations. You will guide advanced routing, fabric design, and observability, mentoring engineers and translating complex decisions to executives and customers.

Qualifications

• Active CCIE certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Advanced networking certifications are strongly preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive network engineering experience, incl. principal/architect roles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as final technical decision authority for WAN, LAN, data center, cloud interconnect, and network security edge.
• Chair network design review processes and governance.
• Own architecture roadmaps, reference architectures, and design documentation (HLD/LLD).
• Lead enterprise-scale observability and capacity-planning for SLAs.
• Mentor senior engineers and drive cross-functional collaboration with cybersecurity and legal teams.
