Job summary

GlobalFoundries seeks a Principal Enterprise Network Architect to own the vision, strategy, and roadmaps for Network Infrastructure, Global SD-WAN, WAN optimization and Voice architecture supporting FABS, Sales and Design offices.

You will design next-gen Data Center architectures (Leaf-Spine, Cisco ACI/Arista), implement IaC with Python/Ansible/Terraform, and lead CI/CD pipelines for network changes while integrating Voice/VoIP with Teams or Webex.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies, such as CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking (Catalyst/Nexus) for datacenter.
• Ability to travel to other sites in North America for implementations (Burlington, VT).

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Strategy: Define the long-term roadmap for global connectivity, focusing on scalability, high availability, and security. Influence management on strategic direction with a vendor neutral approach and maintain industry standards.
• Data Center: Design and implement next-gen Data Center architectures using Leaf-Spine topologies, Cisco ACI, or Arista.
• Automation & DevOps: Replace manual CLI workflows with Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Develop CI/CD pipelines for network changes using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Voice & Collaboration: Lead the integration of enterprise Voice/VoIP infrastructure (SBCs, SIP Trunking) with cloud-based platforms like Microsoft Teams or Cisco Webex.
