Job summary

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is seeking an accomplished Vice President of Community Engagement & Grassroots to lead nationwide efforts in advocacy, constituent affairs, and partnerships that support veterans and military-connected communities.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will manage a dispersed team, shape cross-functional strategies, and oversee budgets, performance metrics, and grant-funded initiatives to expand WWP's reach and impact while strengthening local relationships and

Qualifications

• Ten years of progressively responsible leadership experience.
• Experience building relationships with veteran, military, nonprofit, government stakeholders.
• Ability to develop and evaluate community engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Community Engagement & Grassroots portfolio.
• Provide strategic direction for WWP's grassroots advocacy network.
• Build and execute an integrated community engagement strategy connecting grassroots advocacy, constituent affairs, alumni connections, and partnerships.
• Oversee reporting, budgeting, and performance metrics for the Community Engagement & Grassroots function.
