Job summary

Wounded Warrior Project seeks a seasoned senior leader to head Community Engagement & Grassroots, guiding national advocacy, partnerships, and stakeholder engagement. You will set strategic direction, lead geographically distributed teams, and oversee budgets and performance to advance veteran support and mission impact.

Executive presence and credibility to advise senior leaders.
Experience building and coaching geographically dispersed teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Community Engagement & Grassroots portfolio and related functions.
Provide strategic direction for grassroots advocacy networks and regional staff.
Develop an integrated community engagement strategy connecting stakeholders and partners.
Oversee budgets, staffing plans, and portfolio performance metrics.
Prepare executive briefs and strategic materials for decision making.
