Job summary

Stratton Mountain Resort seeks an experienced Vice President of Mountain Operations to lead the resort's mountain operations, infrastructure, safety, and guest experience. You will report to the Resort President and COO, overseeing 400+ team members and shaping long‑term operational strategy.

This full‑time role offers a base salary of $130,000–$160,000 with eligibility for annual performance bonus and long‑term equity incentives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of leadership in ski resort mountain operations.
• Strong technical understanding of mountain operations, infrastructure, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven financial acumen including operating budgets and capital planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for mountain operations strategy and performance.
• Oversee snowmaking, grooming, lift operations, terrain parks, and mountain safety.
• Develop and manage budgets, capital plans, and resource allocation.
