Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven leadership in metallurgical or process engineering roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with data-driven mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Provide senior leadership and strategic direction for metallurgical, maintenance and processing activities with restart readiness focus.
• Mentor and develop metallurgical and laboratory teams and drive career growth.
• Champion safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance across operations.
• Define performance targets and technical limits to stabilize and optimize processes.
• Lead complex troubleshooting to overcome bottlenecks, recovery issues, and restart constraints.
• Oversee metallurgical testing programs from design to interpretation to support optimization.
• Maintain accurate metallurgical accounting and monthly/annual reporting.
• Provide oversight of sampling systems, on-stream analyzers, and lab services for data reliability.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Geology, Mine Engineering and site leadership to align processing with ore characteristics and business needs.
• Lead strategic process improvements and evaluate new technologies for better recovery and reliability.
• Manage metallurgical and process-related projects from concept through budgeting, ramp-up, and reviews.
• Build technical capability by mentoring cross-functional personnel and promoting accountability.
