Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Chief Medical Officer in Needham to lead clinical practice standards, integration of medical staff, and overall quality of care. The CMO will collaborate with hospital leadership to maintain regulatory compliance, optimize resource utilization, and strengthen patient safety culture.

The role emphasizes data-driven performance improvement, LEAN initiatives, and coordination with the CNO and COO to enhance throughput and care quality across clinical teams.

Qualificações

• MD with ABIM/ABMS Board certification.
• Minimum 10 years of clinical practice; at least 5 years in administrative/quality management.
• Master's Degree preferred in Business, Public Health, or Health Administration.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as resource to medical staff; resolve inter-physician issues and credentialing problems.
• Assist the President in clinical and network development with affiliated partners.
• Act as Patient Care Assessment Coordinator; support Director of Quality and Safety and medical review processes.
• Lead quality initiatives and monitor compliance with standards; champion safety culture.
• Present/attend Board meetings and support quality and safety discussions.
• Collaborate with CNO/COO to improve clinical delivery and throughput; oversee HIM/UR activities.
