Job summary

Baylor College of Medicine seeks a Chief Medical Officer/Faculty Physician to provide strategic medical leadership within Baylor Medicine. The CMO will co-chair the CPC, partner with executive leadership, and oversee clinical practice standards across the enterprise.

Ideal candidates hold an MD/DO with Texas license, board certification, and (preferred) MBA/MHA/MPH. Extensive clinical and leadership experience in academia are essential.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school with active Texas license and DEA registration.
• Board certification in a recognized medical or surgical specialty.
• MBA/MHA/MPH preferred to manage enterprise operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Baylor Medicine clinical programs and align standards of care across departments.
• Develop actionable dashboards and performance metrics to drive quality and outcomes.
• Mentor future leaders and oversee development of medical directors.
