Job Title: Chief Maintenance Engineer

Overview

The Chief Maintenance Engineer (CME) oversees maintenance operations, acts as the technical lead, manages staff, and maintains client relations. The role is pivotal in ensuring facilities are well-maintained and operational.

Responsibilities

• Review and prioritize daily job requests and work orders.
• Assign tasks to staff and monitor progress.
• Perform general maintenance including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, appliances, and piping.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on plant equipment and building systems.
• Collaborate with the Regional Operations Manager on facility issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safety compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of building maintenance experience.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of maintenance trades such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry.
• Experience with CMMS and proficiency in computer use preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
