Smart Care Solutions is seeking an experienced corporate attorney in Austin, TX to lead HR, contracts, and compliance matters. You will partner with business leaders on commercial terms, manage licenses, and support acquisition activity while coordinating with external counsel on complex disputes.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of employment and contract litigation experience, strong legal writing, and excellent advocacy in federal and state courts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of employment and contract litigation experience in federal and state court.
• Experience with service and manufacturing industries is a plus.
• Excellent legal writing and research skills with a track record of high‑quality briefs.
• Strong courtroom presence and oral advocacy; able to argue motions effectively.
• Ability to work independently in a team‑oriented, trial‑focused environment.

Responsabilités

• General corporate duties and compliance activities across HR, contracts, and ethics.
• Lead risk management with insurance/legal teams to minimize claims.
• Negotiate commercial contracts with end users and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain all business licenses and support acquisitions and IP/license needs.
• Develop SOPs, manage COI processes for vendors, and assist with disputes.
• Oversee litigation readiness and manage outside counsel costs.
