S&P Global is seeking a Chief Legal Officer to lead a global legal and risk organization. The role advises the Board and executive team on governance, strategic transactions, and regulatory matters while shaping the company’s growth and AI governance agenda.

You will oversee enterprise risk, transform operating models, and partner with senior leaders to ensure compliance, integrity, and sustainable business advantage across geographies.

Qualifikationen

• Senior-level experience as General Counsel or Chief Legal Officer in a public company.
• Deep governance, securities, regulatory, litigation, and commercial expertise.
• Experience with data‑intensive, IP‑driven, technology‑enabled businesses.

Aufgaben

• Advise the Board on governance, securities, disclosure, risk oversight, and fiduciary matters.
• Engage with the Board and executives during enterprise transformation.
• Oversee SEC and stock exchange obligations with Finance and Investor Relations.
• Lead legal leadership on M&A and strategic transactions.
• Govern AI, GenAI, data governance, and technology risk enterprise‑wide.
• Manage complex litigation and investigations globally.
