Job summary

FOSSA in Lisbon seeks a Head of IoT to lead the development and improvement of IoT devices and ecosystem. You will oversee cross-functional teams, ensure technical coherence, and align with satellite and ground segment groups to deliver scalable connectivity solutions.

The role reports to the CTO, PMO and executive management, with responsibilities spanning concept to production and deployment in a fast-growing space-tech environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering background and systems development experience.
• 5+ years of related working experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and team coordination.
• Experience with technical integrations and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IoT device development from concept to deployment.
• Manage a multidisciplinary team across engineering disciplines.
• Ensure technical coherence across IoT development efforts.
• Design procurement, QA, and integration strategies for mass production.
• Oversee customer technical support operations.
• Collaborate with satellite and ground teams and HQ in Spain.
