Job summary

Ares Management LLC, within AIS, is seeking a highly motivated FP&A Principal to lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis of its asset portfolio in collaboration with senior management. This role focuses on data-driven insights for asset deployment, investment performance, risk management, and capital allocation.

AIS manages $28Bn+ of AUM across a diversified portfolio and collaborates with Aspida on investment solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
• 12+ years of FP&A, investment analysis, and/or financial reporting in insurance or asset management.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for investment forecasting, scenario analysis, and performance tracking.
• Lead data quality and accuracy of asset portfolio through reconciliation.
• Prepare analytics and reporting of portfolio trends, returns, and allocation for senior management, investors, and regulators.
• Analyze market trends to identify impacts on investment portfolio and opportunities to improve performance or mitigate risk.
• Support budgeting and forecasting of asset deployment, investment income, liquidity, and capital planning.
