Oliver James Group is seeking a seasoned Head of Investment Accounting to lead daily investment accounting, close cycles, and reporting across complex asset portfolios. This role requires deep US GAAP/STAT expertise for life/annuity products and investments, and partnership with senior leadership to drive platform enhancements.

The position offers 100% remote work with occasional travel to San Francisco and Los Angeles, aligning with West Coast time zones and PST work hours.

Formación

10+ years in life/annuity or P&C insurance accounting or Big Four insurance practice.
Deep mastery of US GAAP and STAT frameworks for life/annuity products and complex investments.
Bachelor's degree plus CPA, CA, or equivalent designation; Clearwater experience preferred.
Remote work with periodic travel to SF/LA as needed.

Responsabilidades

Lead daily investment accounting, monthly closes, and reporting across complex asset portfolios.
Collaborate with CIO, CFO, and asset managers across asset classes including real estate, derivatives.
Oversee system transformation of investment accounting platforms and ledger architectures.
Support M&A, reinsurance transactions and onboarding of acquired portfolios.
Chair or support the Asset Pricing Policy Committee and coordinate external audits/regulatory exams.
