Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CA/CFA preferred.
• 5+ years in investment accounting or finance.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, US Statutory, IFRS and US Tax accounting.
• Understanding of fixed income, equities, structured products and alternative investments.
• Experience with investment accounting systems and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Exposure to reporting automation and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage investment accounting activities, including security accounting, valuation and subledger accuracy.
• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly investment close and reporting.
• Apply US GAAP, US Statutory (NAIC), IFRS and US Tax accounting principles.
• Prepare statutory investment schedules, tax basis calculations and supporting tax reporting.
• Investigate complex accounting issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain strong internal controls and support audit and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and tools such as Power BI and Python.
• Partner with Finance and Investment Management on technical accounting and reporting matters.
