Job summary

QCR Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Director of Internal Audit to lead the internal audit program and SOX testing for the company and its subsidiaries. This role oversees the Internal Audit Team, coaches staff, and coordinates with external auditors and management.

This position requires 10+ years in internal audit, preferably in banking, and professional certifications (CIA/CPA/CFSA/CISA). Travel to all locations as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of internal audit experience.
• Banking experience preferred.
• Hold CIA, CPA, CFSA, and/or CISA or actively pursuing certification.
• Minimum of five years of supervisory or management experience.
• Capability to utilize various banking software and Microsoft 365 products.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internal audit program and SOX testing.
• Lead internal audit team and supervise staff.
• Communicate audit findings to departments and Board committee.
• Coordinate with external auditors.
• Develop and maintain audit programs.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate staff.
