Job summary

Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences seeks a Vice President (VP) / Associate Provost for Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation to lead the Office of the University Registrar and the Office of Accreditation and Assessment, advising the SVP on academic matters and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree from an accredited university in education, business, public administration, or related field.
• Seven years of administrative experience in higher education with expertise in accreditation, registrar operations, assessment, or institutional research.
• Thorough knowledge of credit-hour compliance, course prerequisites, and curriculum graduation requirements.
• Experience with complex student information systems (e.g., Salesforce, Ellucian Banner, Workday Student) and state/federal reporting.
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to develop consensus decisions.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Office of the University Registrar and the Office of Accreditation and Assessment.
• Serve as Accreditation Liaison Officer for MSCHE and other accreditations.
• Provide strategic leadership for data strategy, KPI development, and institutional reporting.
• Oversee budgeting, resource allocation for software renewals, site visits, and staff development.
• Collaborate with deans, chairs, and senior leadership to align academic and operational initiatives with the university's strategic plan.
