Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Chief Inspector for a P145 repair station located in Lancaster, PA. This primarily desk-based role involves managing compliance and regulatory tasks, overseeing return-to-service paperwork, and ensuring the smooth operation of the repair station.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee all maintenance performed on customer aircraft, ensuring compliance with manuals and Federal Aviation Regulations.
  2. Manage quality control of aircraft components and monitor the continuing analysis and surveillance program.
  3. Implement improved inspection procedures and methods to enhance maintenance quality and economic efficiency.
  4. Audit and maintain the accuracy of all aircraft, engine, and airframe logbooks, including computer tracking of components, inspections, and overhauls.
  5. Ensure maintenance personnel are adequately trained, schedule classes, develop training curriculum, and supervise contract maintenance agencies.
  6. Manage the accuracy and retention of all maintenance and inspection records, including weight and balance functions and required reports to the FAA.
Essential Skills
  • Over 7 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • A&P License and Inspection Authorization (IA) License REQUIRED.
  • Valid Driver’s license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Management experience preferred.
