Job summary

SHAZAM is seeking a VP of Infrastructure in Johnston, IA to lead vision, strategy, and execution of enterprise technology infrastructure. The role ensures availability, security, scalability, and performance of critical environments while driving innovation and operational excellence with executive alignment.

The position requires 10+ years in infrastructure, 7+ years of leadership, strong expertise across Windows/UNIX/Linux, networking, virtualization, cloud, and security, plus travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in technology infrastructure, enterprise systems, networking, cloud computing, or related technology disciplines.
• Strong leadership experience managing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams responsible for infrastructure, systems, networks, telecommunications, cloud platforms, and operational support.
• Ensure availability, security, scalability, and performance of mission-critical environments.
• Analyze industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Plan capacity management, lifecycle planning, modernization, staffing, and cost optimization.
• Evaluate and oversee hardware, software, security solutions, and network infrastructure.
• Maintain information security, regulatory compliance, and business continuity controls.
• Oversee budgets, investments, vendor contracts, and resource planning.
• Provide updates and strategic recommendations to leadership and Board as needed.
