Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of progressively responsible information technology leadership experience.
• Experience leading a broad technology organization spanning multiple areas such as application development, data & analytics, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, or technology planning.
• Experience with technology budgeting, vendor management, contracting, procurement, and major technology investments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, technology risk management, business continuity, data management, and IT governance.
• Ability to advise senior executives, communicate complex technology issues to nontechnical audiences, and make sound recommendations on cost, risk, and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for technology strategy, governance, and portfolio management.
• Oversee technology operations, end‑user services, classroom and audiovisual technology, and infrastructure.
• Lead modernization and AI initiatives, data governance, and analytics across the school.
• Collaborate with UT Austin Information Security Office to manage risk and ensure compliance.
• Manage budgets, licensing, contracts, procurement, and vendor relationships in partnership with school leadership.
